Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend trying to Reel Her and Himself in Political Drama, causing Backlash

Caitlin Clark has been one of the most talked-about individuals since her college basketball career began to take shape.

Not only did she break collegiate record after record, Clark has been an instant success since being drafted into the WNBA.

Her performances have been sensational, earning her a spot in the WNBA all-star game, and this has only served to increase interest in her.

Her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, has not been immune to that interest, with many wondering what is behind the man who spends his life with Caitlin Clark in a romantic capacity.

One particular topic of interest has been McCaffery‘s political opinions, and which party he stands with ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election.

After a lot of mithering, McCaffery has made his political stance clear on social media this week.

What did McCaffery say about politics?

The former Iowa Hawkeyes men’s basketball player, who has been dating Clark for about a year, expressed his support for Kamala Harris on his Instagram Story.

McCaffery took the time to post a supportive message for Harris on his social media feed as the candidate looks to secure the Democratic nomination after Joe Biden withdrew from the race.

The message itself was a campaign video released by Harris’ team, which McCaffery reposted on his own Instagram page, signaling his support for her.

This is not the first time McCaffery has voiced his political views online. He has previously shown support for progressive and left-leaning causes. McCaffery, who works for the Indiana Pacers, recently celebrated his one-year anniversary with Caitlin Clark.

Clark and McCaffery are currently enjoying a vacation together as the WNBA is on a break after the start of their season and subsequent all-star break.
