Carley Shimkus, the FOX & Friends First star, recently shared a series of adorable photos with her new son, Brock Edward, who was born in February. The journalist posted heartwarming pictures on her Instagram, offering her thousands of followers a glimpse into her new life as a mother. In one image, Carley snapped a selfie in the park with Brock in his stroller, and in another, she beamed while holding her baby. She also posted snapshots from a Kentucky Derby celebration with friends, sharing moments of joy from her personal life.

Fans flooded the comment sections with praise for the pictures, with many expressing how much they missed seeing her on-screen. Some, like Galen Pedersen, commented, “We miss you. Carley recently appeared on the podcast of weathercaster and TV host Janice Dean, where she opened up about her experience adjusting to motherhood. She shared that her son is getting “a very early education” in politics, joking, “Early motherhood is a wild ride. You are filled with so much love, and you are so tired, and you’re so covered in poop.” Despite the challenges, she described the experience as “wonderful,” adding, “Your body looks different, but at the end of the day, you have this sweet little person who needs you so much.”

Carley, who joined Fox News in 2009 as a production assistant, has worked as a producer for Fox Business Network and appeared as a co-host for Fox Nation. She has been married to businessman Peter Buchignani since August 2015.
