We just witnessed the 67th Grammy Awards Ceremony, which was always full of emotion. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars won one of the music awards for their track “Die With A Smile.” Naturally, they also appeared on stage to collect their statuettes.
Lady Gaga did not hide her emotions during her acceptance speech. The singer, who has been a steadfast ally of sexual minorities since the start of her career, highlighted the LGBTQ+ community in her address.
It’s such an honor to sing for all of you. I just want to say tonight that trans people are not invisible. Trans people deserve love. The queer community deserves to be lifted up. Music is love. Thank you – Gaga said emotionally, tears in her eyes.

The star’s speech received loud applause and cheers from familiar faces in the audience, who rose from their seats immediately. In recordings that have already appeared on social media, we can see the reactions of Beyoncé, Charli XCX, and Billie Eilish, among others. Consequently, President Donald Trump signed orders aimed at, among other things, limiting healthcare tailored to transgender youth. He also deemed transgender members of the US military as “unfit” for service and signed an order stating that “there are only two genders”.
