Chennedy Carter BEGS for a Team

KARMA HITS HARD! Chennedy Carter BEGS for a Team After NO ONE Wants Her Following Caitlin Clark ASSAULT—Career in RUINS!

Chennedy Carter may be feeling the consequences of her on-court actions, as she remains unsigned following the controversial incident involving rookie sensation Caitlin Clark. The former Chicago Sky guard made headlines for all the wrong reasons when she delivered a blatant shoulder check to Clark during a game against the Indiana Fever. The incident sparked massive backlash, with fans and analysts calling it an unnecessary and unsportsmanlike act.

Now, as WNBA teams finalize their rosters, Carter finds herself without a contract. While some argue her talent is undeniable, the controversy surrounding her physical play may have damaged her reputation. Social media has been ablaze with discussions about whether the hit was intentional or just part of the game, but the fact remains—Carter has yet to secure a new opportunity.

Chennedy Carter's controversial past resurfaces after her foul on Caitlin Clark: suspended from two WNBA teams

Chennedy Carter, the 2020 fourth overall draft pick, recently faced significant backlash after shoving Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark to the floor during a Commissioner’s Cup game.

The incident has sparked extensive discussion on social media and in the news, bringing Carter‘s past behavior into the spotlight.

“I wasn’t expecting it,” Clark said after the game.

“It is what it is. It’s a physical game. Go make the free throw and execute on offense, and I feel like that’s kind of what we did.”

Carter has a history of confrontations. In July 2021, she was suspended by the Atlanta Dream for “conduct detrimental to the team” after an altercation with teammate Courtney Williams.

During a game, Williams asked Carter to support her teammates from the bench, which led to an argument. Carter left the game, went to the locker room, and did not return.

After the game, she confronted Williams, who refused to escalate the situation. This incident led to Carter‘s suspension, underscoring her tendency toward volatile behavior.

Another incident

This was not an isolated event. Carter had previously instigated a confrontation with a teammate during practice.

These issues contributed to her being traded to the LA Sparks in 2022. Her tenure with the Sparks was also troubled, resulting in her being benched for poor conduct.

Her performance suffered, with her averages dropping from 16.1 points and 3.4 assists per game with the Dream to 8.9 points and 1.9 assists per game with the Sparks.
