After Dave Grohl divulged that he had a child with a woman who wasn’t his wife, more information went under lock. Now, the a woman claimed she’s at the center of the mystery.

The alleged mother of Dave Grohl’s secret child finally spoke out.

Jennifer Young claimed she was the woman that the Foo Fighters frontman cheated with, resulting on an out-of-wedlock love child. The Florida native was spotted in New York City on Valentine’s Day, carrying the baby which is seemingly their 7-month-old daughter. As she walked through the city, Jennifer wore a pair of black pants with Doc Martens. Keeping the baby close to her chest for the stroll, she partially zipped up a green, patterned jacket, hanging a pair of sunglasses off the zipper.

She asked Page Six for the child’s name to remain private “because there’s some really angry fans.” Jennifer added: “Protecting her identity is really important.”

Jennifer pulled her blonde hair back in a clip as she carried a brown paper bag with her. The woman tapped away on her iPhone screen with her red-painted nails. Her child’s face was not in view, but the kid wore a red beanie and matching booties.

As for Dave’s location, he was not spotted at her side. However, he is believed to have been in the city for the special day. When he announced the arrival of his child with the mysterious woman, he vowed to “be a loving and supportive parent to her.”

The outlet also obtained photos from a prior outing Jennifer took in Los Angeles recently where she wore a much lighter outfit. She donned a white t-shirt and black biker shorts, pairing the athletic wear with a pair of white sneakers. Jennifer put her rockstar tattoos on full display, showing off her artistic arms.

Previously, Dave confessed to the love child through an Instagram post, writing: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

Dave’s marriage status with his wife, Jordyn Blum, continues to be up in the air after reports indicated that the pair were looking into divorce lawyers. However, a source later told People: “He’s no longer working with a divorce attorney and instead hoping to work things out with his wife.”
