The video also featured The Sun’s February 2008 front page headlined “One Of Our Boys”.

Harry completed two tours, serving in Helmand in 2007-8 before returning in 2012.

Our splash was one of many covering the fight against the Taliban despite Harry’s claim British media did not cover injured troops.

Asked how he felt after returning home from war, Harry, 38, said: “I’ve talked about one experience there because I want to motivate others to talk about theirs.

“I was really lucky not to be injured but of course I saw enough injuries.”

Harry claimed the film should have featured more wounded veterans like those in the audience.

He added: “If we could all spend our lives in uniform, we would, but sometimes we have to hang up the uniform because of injuries.

“With Invictus Games we want to give these people the chance to continue to serve, and that’s a service that goes beyond wearing the uniform.
