Throughout the night, she elicited cheers from the Midwestern crowd, full of fans from her native Iowa and her new home in Indianapolis, despite Indiana being the “road” team.
But the viral moment was one that showcased Clark’s ruthless competitive nature. It did not take an expert lip reader to make out her cocky question to the Chicago fans, asking them to confirm that her shot went in after she got fouled on a three-point play. Of course, she already knew the answer.
