Khloé Kardashian Bashes ‘Clown’ L.A. Mayor, Calls Out Her Honor Over the Disastrous Wildfires

Plenty of Angelenos are livid at Mayor Karen Bass right now in the midst of the deadly wildfires ravaging SoCal … and Khloé Kardashian has made it clear she is among them!

Khloé called out the mayor on Friday night, after Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley did a stunning interview with FOX 11 in L.A. where she said the city (meaning Bass) failed her, essentially due to budget cuts … calling the situation “no longer sustainable.”

Crowley groused the Mayor had called for massive budget cuts and she had pleaded more than a month ago for more money because there were firetrucks in such disrepair they couldn’t go on the road, there were hydrants that needed fixing, etc, but it was met with deaf ears.

The Kardashian sister posted a snap from the interview on Instagram and added, “Thank you for being honest, Chief Crowley … Mayor Bass, you are a joke!!!”

Bass and Crowley had a very long private meeting after the interview — she thought the Mayor was gonna give her the boot — but KC is still in her role as Chief. As a matter of fact, there was a scheduled news conference late yesterday afternoon that the Mayor was supposed to lead, but she was MIA.

The embattled Bass — as well as Gov. Gavin Newsom — has been eviscerated by a portion of the public for their response — or lack thereof — to the deadly blazes that have destroyed portions of Pacific Palisades, Malibu and Altadena throughout the week.

Of course, Khloé is not the only celeb who has bashed the Mayor and Governor over the wildfire response … Mel Gibson and James Woods have also called out the leadership duo.

A “frustrated Californian” started an online petition calling for the immediate resignation of Mayor Bass … so far, it has gotten more than 56,000 signatures.
