WNBA Player Natasha Cloud EXPOSED after UNHINGED DEI RANT against White Men!

WNBA star Natasha Cloud has once again ignited controversy, this time with an explosive DEI-fueled rant targeting white men. Cloud, known for her outspoken activism, took to social media with a fiery tirade that has since drawn widespread backlash from sports fans, commentators, and even her own family members.

The outburst, in which she claimed that “it’s time to break down a system that has only been about white men”, has left many questioning whether Cloud’s rhetoric has crossed the line from activism into outright division and hostility.

But it didn’t stop there. She went on to blame capitalism, economic struggles, and social inequalities on what she perceives as an unjust system built by white men. And yet, critics were quick to point out the irony of her statements—coming from a professional athlete in a league that has struggled to turn a profit and relies on NBA subsidies to survive.

A History of Controversy

This isn’t the first time Cloud has stirred the pot. In 2020, she sat out the entire WNBA season to participate in the George Floyd protests, openly declaring that basketball wasn’t her priority and that she needed to fight for what she believed in. While some praised her activism, others questioned whether her stance was more about attention-seeking than actual solutions.

Now, four years later, she’s back in the headlines, but this time, the backlash is far more severe. Social media erupted as fans and critics alike slammed her divisive rhetoric, calling her “unhinged”, “hypocritical”, and even “racist” for openly attacking an entire demographic group.

One social media user summed up the sentiment perfectly:
“If you don’t like the country, if you think the system is so bad, why do you stay and cash the checks? You CHOOSE to play basketball and make six figures. You CHOOSE to live in a country where you have the freedom to say whatever you want without fear of punishment. How about a little gratitude?”

Cloud’s Hypocrisy Laid Bare

Perhaps the most damning revelation in this controversy is Cloud’s own background. According to reports, Cloud was raised in a stable, middle-class, predominantly white household. Her stepfather, whom she has referred to as her “real dad”, worked two jobs to support the family—yet she now claims that white men are responsible for systemic oppression.

This detail has not gone unnoticed, and many are calling out the blatant hypocrisy of her statements.

“So let me get this straight,” one critic posted. “Your white father worked two jobs to provide for you, and now you turn around and publicly bash white men? That’s the definition of biting the hand that fed you.”

And then there’s the issue of her own family estrangement. Reports indicate that Cloud cut ties with her siblings after they voted for Donald Trump in 2020.

Her own brother, whom she blocked on social media, later called her out for being a hypocrite and a puppet for DEI policies, suggesting that she only makes these kinds of extreme statements because of corporate sponsorships.

The WNBA’s DEI Problem

Cloud’s latest tirade is yet another example of the deep ideological divide within the WNBA, a league that has openly embraced social justice messaging but continues to struggle with attendance, profitability, and public perception.

For years, the WNBA has pushed DEI initiatives, but at what cost? While Caitlin Clark’s arrival has revitalized fan interest, there’s a growing disconnect between players who see the league as a platform for activism and fans who just want to watch basketball.

Sports should unite people, not divide them.

Yet, time and again, players like Cloud seem more focused on pushing political narratives than on actually growing the game.

Public Backlash Reaches a Boiling Point

As expected, the backlash against Cloud has been swift and brutal. Social media has been flooded with calls for her to be removed from the WNBA, with some even questioning whether sponsors will continue to back her after such inflammatory remarks.

One viral post read:
“If an NBA player made these same comments about black men, they’d be out of the league within the hour. Double standards are getting ridiculous.”

And that brings us to the biggest question: Will the WNBA hold Cloud accountable?

So far, there has been no official statement from the league. But the silence is deafening.
