Sharpe added that the amount of foul play happening towards Clark is due to her domination in the league. Throughout the 2024 WNBA season, Sharpe has been actively advocating for the Indiana Fever rookie. He has consistently praised the young star and expressed his concerns about the number of fouls called on her. Despite this, Clark and her Fever squad’s current form clearly demonstrate their fearlessness towards any opponent.
Shannon Sharpe asks Caitlin Clark for a favor
USA basketball had formed one of the most tough rosters for the Woman USA team for the 2024 Paris Olympics. But many fans still thought the team had something missing. They were talking about the Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark, who many felt was unfairly snubbed from the USA squad for the Olympics.
Recently on the show ‘First Take’, analysts Stephen A Smith and Shannon Sharpe discussed how Clark had been snubbed from Team USA. Smith expressed his thoughts on Clark’s talent and questioned why she had not been selected for the Olympics team. Sharpe then made a request to Clark, asking her to send him a signed jersey so he could wear it.
Hey, do me a favor CC. Say your favorite jersey with your autograph on it and I will wear it. Do that for me.Shannon Sharpe via First Take
Fans were puzzled after seeing Clark not being part of the USA team. Although fans could expect her be the part of the team and be it’s main star in the coming Olympics. Clark is certainly on the road to become one of WNBA’s all time greats. She has already broken many records in her rookie season and will be continuing to do so in the coming years.
