Joe Budden has crafted a career out of expressing himself.

Whether it was with his music or with his opinion, Budden has used his voice to remain relevant within pop culture for over two decades.

And as with many other popular media personalities, the WNBA’s two rookie sensations Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have recently caught Budden’s attention.

During a recent episode of the Joe Budden Podcast, the media mogul issued a clear verdict on which of the two superstars he believes is better.

“I’m telling y’all, and I’m not trying to cause a kerfuffle, Caitlin Clark is a hell of a lot better than Angel Reese,” Budden said, per Clark Report on X.

After a few moments, Budden goes on to say, “In no world did they ever compare Dennis Rodman’s rebounding a** with [Michael] Jordan. They never did that.

“Nobody ever said Ben Wallace could give Michael Jordan a run for his money,” Budden continued. “And [Reese] is grabbing all the boards in the world — hey, the double-double princess — and she got a podcast now, and she got a Reese’s Pieces deal. I’m telling y’all that Caitlin Clark, if we’re talking about a basketball… she has been on an absolute warpath since y’all left her off the Olympics.”

“And I’m not just gonna ignore it because she’s white. She is smoking you b****** out there,” Budden concluded.

Not much of a kerfuffle has been made about Budden’s comments so far, as the consensus among most fans is generally the same.

Although there’s still time for Reese’s fervent fanbase to find issue with Budden’s take.
