Elon Musk, The World’S Richest Man, Took His Three-Year-Old Son To A Formula 1 Event In Austin, Texas, Amid A Custody Battle With His Ex-Girlfriend Grimes

In a move that’s sure to make every parent feel totally inadequate, Elon Musk, the world’s wealthiest individual (for now), decided to take his three-year-old son to a Formula 1 race in Austin, Texas. Because, you know, that’s just a typical Sunday for a toddler.

Little X Æ A-12 (yes, that’s really his name) was spotted in the paddock, looking absolutely thrilled/confused by the roaring engines and the sea of adults. One can only imagine what was going through his tiny mind. “Daddy, why are all these people screaming? And can we get ice cream after this?”

Of course, this heartwarming father-son outing comes amid a rather less heartwarming custody battle with Musk’s ex-girlfriend, Grimes. Because what’s a casual day at the races without a dash of legal drama? It’s like a soap opera, but with more horsepower.

Sources say that Musk is “fighting tooth and nail” for custody of his son. Which, given his resources, probably involves hiring a team of lawyers who specialize in “outlandish billionaire custody battles.”

The internet, naturally, has exploded with opinions. Some are praising Musk for being an involved dad, while others are questioning the appropriateness of taking a toddler to such a loud and chaotic event. And then there are those who are simply marveling at the fact that this child’s name is pronounced “Ex Ash A Twelve.” Because, Elon.

Meanwhile, Grimes has remained relatively quiet about the whole situation. Perhaps she’s busy writing a song about it. Or maybe she’s just trying to figure out how to explain to her son why his dad’s job title is “Technoking of Tesla.”

In any case, this latest episode in the Musk family saga is a reminder that even the world’s richest man has his fair share of drama. Although, to be fair, his drama involves Formula 1 races and custody battles, while the rest of us are just trying to figure out how to afford groceries.

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story. And if you happen to see little X Æ A-12 at a future event, please resist the urge to ask him about his dad’s plans for Mars. He’s probably heard enough about it.
