Angel Reese, WNBA superstar of the Chicago Sky
ESPN (DR)

Caitlin Clark’s arch-rival, Angel Reese is one of the most-followed personalities in the WNBA right now.

Her latest statement about women has sparked quite a few reactions, while she was in the company of Carmelo Anthony’s son.

Unlike Caitlin Clark who reached the playoffs in her first season, hers ended prematurely due to physical concerns and a team record that was too weak.

However, Angel Reese was also extremely publicized for her WNBA debut .

Whether for her all-time rebounding records or the controversy surrounding them, everyone talked about the Chicago player.

Since the Sky season ended, Shaquille O’Neal’s protégé hasn’t been sitting on her hands, launching her own podcast.

And while her detractors are quick to trash her for every statement she makes, the recent topic that was discussed on it particularly caught the public’s attention: money and women in basketball.

Angel Reese’s Cash Advice For Carmelo Anthony’s Son

Specifically, Reese looked at the intimate relationships that NBA players end up regretting, especially the ones they have once they’ve made the big bucks.

With Carmelo’s son Kiyan Anthony as her guest, the star made a point of warning him about what he should definitely not do off the court:

You gotta be careful when you’re in the league, even when you’re in college you gotta be careful with these women.

Like I swear, the slightest slip-up… Have you seen all these stories? Don’t do that, Ki. These women…

Because you’re 17, it’s older women you gotta be careful with, the ones that are way older than you too.

Unsurprisingly, Reese’s words didn’t escape anyone’s attention and for some Internet users, the rookie has very specific names in mind.

The one that comes up most often is that of Draya Michele, girlfriend of Jalen Green who plays for the Rockets and who just hit the jackpot.

To which her sweetheart, who is 17 years older, immediately reacted … It remains to be seen whether Melo’s son will remember this advice:

@idcstfumaynee : That’s good advice but he’s not going to listen to it lol

@Jnrhal_85 : She might as well name Draya and that would be it.

@ThatDudeMCFLY : Lol Draya already getting missiles

Money often breeds greed in basketball, and some players pay the price in their intimate relationships. That’s why Angel Reese decided to warn Kiyan Anthony before he launched his career… until he sees if it pays off.
