Michelle Obama’s demeanor shifted after being seated at her table
FORMER First Lady Michelle Obama engaged in a serious conversation with her older brother during a recent outing at a posh Los Angeles restaurant, a source has revealed to The U.S. Sun.
Obama, 61, returned to one of her favorite Hollywood hotspots, Mother Wolf, on the evening of February 21 without her husband as divorce rumors between the former first couple continue to mount.

Obama and her husband, former President Barack Obama, enjoyed an intimate dinner at the vibrant Italian eatery in Los Feliz last December.
However, this time around, Michelle Obama enjoyed a family dinner with her older brother, Craig Robinson, 62. But missing from the table was the 44th president.
Obama, who wore a stylish all-black outfit with gray pants and a fur jacket, and her brother were flanked by Secret Service agents as they made their way to the restaurant.
A source at Mother Wolf disclosed to The U.S. Sun that a genial Obama received a warm welcome from staff, but her demeanor shifted after being seated at her table.
“The restaurant was given a heads up just before she arrived because there are certain security protocols that need to be put in place and followed before she gets there,” the source told The U.S. Sun.
“She was extremely friendly to everyone as she walked in.
“She’s been here a few times before so some staff has gotten friendlier with her.
“Once she sat down though, it looked like she was having serious conversations.
“She was still polite and kind but more tense than walking in.”
The source disclosed that Obama and her brother were escorted to their usual private table on the side of the restaurant.
“They were presented a bottle of wine on the house but it’s unclear if they drank all of it,” the source added.
“They ate family-style and ordered a salad, pastas and a pizza. Once she left the restaurant she looked really happy and so did her brother.
“It seemed like they had a good night but again definitely a little more tense when they sat down and got to talking but overall seems like a nice night out for the former first lady.”
The source revealed Obama’s team took care of the bill and left a “generous” tip.
FANNING FLAMES
The Obamas have been at the center of divorce rumors after the former first lady’s notable absence from several high-profile events that former President Obama attended alone.
The couple, who have been married for more than 30 years, have not publicly addressed the online divorce speculation.
The former president, 63, has put out two public statements to fan the flames, gushing over the “love of his life” on her 61st birthday on January 17.
“Happy birthday to the love of my life, @MichelleObama,” Obama wrote, alongside a photo of the pair holding hands while enjoying dinner.
Michelle Obama acknowledged her husband’s sweet post, saying, “Love you, honey!” accompanied by a red heart and kissing emoji.
Then, on Valentine’s Day, the former president again attempted to shut down the divorce rumors by posting an affectionate selfie of the pair.
“Thirty-two years together and you still take my breath away. Happy Valentine’s Day, @MichelleObama!” he wrote on X.

Bush – and their wives in honoring Carter, who died on December 29, 2024, at age 100.
However, missing from the gallery was Michelle Obama, who was reportedly still on an extended vacation in Hawaii at the time.
The former first lady then also skipped President Trump’s inauguration on January 20 – despite all of the other ex-first ladies attending.
Her team did not give a reason for her absence.
