Angel Reese Reveals Dream SNL Lineup: Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Latto, and GloRilla as Performers

Rookie sensation Angel Reese revealed her dream musical guests for hosting SNL in an interview with ESPN during the WNBA All-Star Weekend. The Chicago Sky rookie, who holds the league’s consecutive double-double record, named four rappers she would invite.

Angel Reese earlier mentioned that Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B and Latto are her go-to artists for inspiration before games. These three made her list, along with GloRilla.

Ahead of the WNBA All-Star Game, she was asked by ESPN about her four dream SNL guests. Hear her answer at the 4:25 mark of the video below:

Back in her college days, Angel Reese, who led LSU to their first national title, appeared briefly in the music video for Cardi B and Latto’s “Put It on Da Floor Again.”

A line in the song mentions LSU, with Cardi B rapping, “I’ve been ballin’ so damn hard, could’ve went to LSU.”

Reese has also shared moments with Megan Thee Stallion, including a TikTok video where she called the rapper her “twin.”

During All-Star Weekend, Reese also revealed her favorite Megan Thee Stallion song is “Captain Hook.”

Reese is averaging 13.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game this season for the Sky, who have a 10-14 record.

Angel Reese shines in 2024 WNBA All-Star Game

Coming off the bench, Angel Reese contributed to Team WNBA’s 117-109 victory over Team USA in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday night.

Reese played 18 minutes, recording a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. She shot 5-for-10 from the field.

Reese holds the league record for consecutive double-doubles with 15, during which she averaged 15.3 points and 13.2 rebounds per game.

Fellow rookie star Caitlin Clark, who started the game, scored four points and dished out a game-high 10 assists in 26 minutes. Clark shot 2-for-9, including 0-7 from beyond the arc.

Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale led the WNBA All-Stars with a record 34 points, all in the second half, earning MVP honors.

Breanna Stewart led Team USA with 31 points and 10 rebounds, while A’ja Wilson added 22 points and six rebounds.

On the opening night of the WNBA All-Star Weekend, Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray shone as she became the first player to win both the Skills Challenge and 3-Point Contest.

Gray won the Skills Challenge after clocking 32.1 seconds, then triumphed in the 3-Point Contest after scoring 22 points to beat Jonquel Jones, who scored 21.
