Bruce Springsteen’s New Lyric Video for ‘I’ll See You In My Dreams’ Leaves Fans in Tears—A Soul-Stirring Tribute to Late Australian Music Legend Michael Gudinski That’s Shaking the World With Its Raw Emotion and Heartbreaking Power!

Bruce Springsteen has dedicated his latest single, I’ll See You In My Dreams, to his late friend Michael Gudinski.

The 71-year-old superstar shared the lyric video for his new song on social media on Thursday, and preceded it with the message: ‘In memory of Michael Gudinski’.

Bruce’s touching tribute came just days after the Australian music legend died suddenly in his sleep while at home in Melbourne.

The Dancing In the Dark singer captioned the post with a selection of lyrics from the moving song.

‘The road is long and seeming without end / The days go on, I remember you my friend / And though you’re gone / And my heart’s been emptied it seems / I’ll see you in my dreams’.

Bruce also paid tribute to Gudinski on Instagram on Tuesday, following his death at the age of 68.

‘My friend Michael Gudinski was first, last, and always a music man. I’ve toured the world for the last fifty years and never met a better promoter,’ he began.

‘Michael always spoke with a deep rumbling voice, and the words would spill out so fast that half the time I needed an interpreter.

‘But I could hear him clear as a bell when he would say, “Bruce, I’ve got you covered.” And he always did.

‘He was loud, always in motion, intentionally (and unintentionally) hilarious, and deeply soulful.

‘He will be remembered by artists, including this one, from all over the world every time they step foot on Australian soil.’

Gudinski, who was widely regarded as the ‘father of the Australian music industry’, passed away in Melbourne on Monday night.

The music promoter formed record label Mushroom Records at just 20 years old, and went on to sign and launch the careers of local artists such as Kylie Minogue.

In 1979, he established concert promoter Frontier Touring and stayed at its helm until his death.

Mushroom Group said in a statement at the time: ‘It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Gudinski AM overnight.

‘The much-loved Australian music legend died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Melbourne, Australia. Michael Gudinski was a key figure in shaping the Australian music industry.’
