Coach Michael Bublé gets emotional after a former The Voice finalist breaks down in tears

In the 2024 season of “The Voice,” Christian rock musician Bryan Olesen from Lincoln, Nebraska, reached the final three under coach John Legend’s mentorship. His performances of Toto’s “Africa,” Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now,” and Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” captivated both the coaches and the audience.

On February 3, 2025, during the season 27 premiere, Olesen returned to the show, this time as a proud father supporting his 23-year-old daughter, Jadyn Cree. Jadyn delivered an energetic rendition of Paramore’s “Still Into You,” which prompted coaches Michael Bublé and newcomer Kelsea Ballerini to turn their chairs. John Legend and Adam Levine, though not turning their chairs, praised her performance. Levine remarked that her voice had a ’90s pop vibe and predicted her unique talent would take her far in the competition.

The episode also featured a nostalgic clip from Olesen’s season, where a younger Jadyn joined her father on stage to sing Corinne Bailey Rae’s “Put Your Records On,” assisting him in choosing Team Legend. This time, after her performance, Legend invited both father and daughter on stage for an emotional reunion. Reflecting on the moment, Bublé, a father himself, expressed that it was likely the greatest moment of Olesen’s life. He praised Jadyn’s star quality and expressed a desire to one day dance with his own daughters to her music. Ultimately, Jadyn chose to join Team Bublé.

'The Voice' coaches this season include Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé, Adam Levine, and John Legend

This season of “The Voice” features coaches Michael Bublé, John Legend, Adam Levine, and Kelsea Ballerini. Levine returns after departing in 2019, and Ballerini steps in as a full-time coach, having previously filled in for Kelly Clarkson during a prior season. The premiere showcased the coaches’ camaraderie and competitive spirit, setting an exciting tone for the season ahead.
