Genesis Delivered A Historic Farewell In London, Closing The Curtain On Their Legendary Career. A Monumental, Bittersweet Night That Cemented Genesis’ Legacy Forever.
Genesis played the last concert of their career in London on Saturday (March 26). Of course, it was an emotional gig – with final words that were as funny as they were touching.

Genesis have called it quits! Of course, the last number of the “The Last Domino?” tour (read the review of the gig HERE ) was a special event. After all, it marked the end of a unique formation that was one of the most successful of the 20th century.
One of the highlights of the evening was the initially barely noticeable presence of Peter Gabriel in the audience , who was later approached on stage by singer Phil Collins . After the concert there was a selfie – as proof, so to speak, of the warm-hearted reunion in the final meters, which, however, did not include a live comeback.
“After tonight we all have to find real jobs”
For Phil Collins, it was definitely his final farewell to life on stage. His health prevented him from performing again, as he had already announced in advance. With appropriately emotional words, but also with typical British humor, he said: “It’s the last stop on our tour, and it’s the last show for Genesis . It’s hard for us to believe that you still came to see us!
Only to then add with a laugh: “Yeah, after tonight we all have to get real jobs.”
