Lara Trump, wife of Eric Trump, is set to return to Fox News with her new weekend show, “My View with Lara Trump.”
The 42-year-old political figure, rumored to be taking on a significant role in the senate, will reportedly discuss prominent political figures, including White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. Before her current position, Leavitt gained notoriety as a writer and assistant press secretary during Donald Trump’s first term.
Now, at just 27, she is the youngest person ever to serve as press secretary, which viewers were shocked to learn. She has already caused quite a stir at the podium, spouting some controversial comments to the media.
She has several interviews lined up for her program, including with Leavitt, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and Attorney General Pam Bondi, according to the US Sun. Lara’s show will air at 9 p. m., replacing “One Nation with Brian Kilmeade.”
She revealed that she has seen a different side of Leavitt as the press secretary has clashed with the media in recent weeks, reports the Irish Star.
She described Leavitt’s “fiery” behavior in eight words: “I didn’t know all that was in there.”

Lara added: “You know, it’s funny because I’ve known Karoline for a little over a year now. She was obviously the spokesperson for the Trump campaign. And I knew her as, you know, a colleague. And I was always very impressed with her.
“I see her in interviews and different moments and different spaces, but you really never know how someone will be until they take that podium. And she blew me away.”
She added that the young staffer’s ability to stand up for the president was not something she had anticipated, noting her “little, very sweet-looking package” can be quite misleading.
“I didn’t know all that was in there,” she admitted. “She’s absolutely incredible. And we’re so proud of the job that she’s doing.”
With a history of high turnover, observers are watching closely to see if this press secretary will remain through the full term. Trump cycled through four press secretaries, including Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kayleigh McEnanyl, and Stephanie Grisham, who notably never held a press briefing during her nine months.
Like those before her, the current secretary hasn’t promised daily briefings but has assured that “you’ll be hearing from both him and me as much as possible.”
