Fans and colleagues rushed to share their well wishes
FOX News anchor Gillian Turner shocked coworkers and fans alike on Wednesday evening when she revealed she was pregnant live on-air.
Turner shared the news during The Five chat show, revealing she was expecting her second child.
Turner gushed as she shared more details about her pregnancy and due date.
The news anchor said she was expecting her baby in December and revealed that she and her husband, entrepreneur Alex Turner, are having a boy.
Turner had echoed the gender of her baby with her light blue blazer.
The news anchor also shared the news on X.
“It’s true!! Baby boy coming December 2024,” she wrote.
Tuner has a three-year-old daughter named Coco Rose Kramer.
Viewers and colleagues were quick to share their well wishes to the anchor on X.
Fox News’ Remy Numa, the network’s lead political affairs specialist, responded to her announcement.
“Congrats, Gillian! Thrilled for you,” he wrote.
Lisa Boothe, a contributor for the network, also shared a sweet message.
“Congratulations, my friend!!!” she wrote.
“I am so happy for you guys!!!”
One viewer replied and offered Turner help with her new journey.
“Awe yay!!! You’re my favorite!” one fan wrote.
“If you need any tips on being a boy mom, I have 5, just holler at me!”
Turner is also a State Department and foreign policy correspondent for Fox News.
She joined the channel in 2014 and has been a substitute anchor on the network’s other programs like Special Report and FOX News Sunday.
She previously worked at the White House National Security Council during the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations.
Turner has not been the only Fox News personality to recently reveal their pregnancy.
