She had acted in shows like Suits and had connections in the entertainment industry. So in early 2017, when she was just beginning to date Prince Harry, Meghan had decided to pay an impromptu visit to one of her good friends who was participating in a celebrity episode of Family Feud.

The celebrity playing along with her team was a close acquaintance of Meghan from past Hollywood events and award shows. She had briefly mentioned to Meghan about taking part in the recording for Family Feud.
