Meghan Markle has started the countdown to her Netflix show premiere by playing a personalised board game with Lilibet.

The Duchess of Sussex was joined by ‘Auntie’ Serena Williams for a game of Candy Land with the three-year-old princess.

Meghan, 43, posted a clip on her Instagram of the trio to the backdrop of Bill Withers’ Lovely Day as she wrote: ‘When the aunties come to celebrate… and to play! Love you @serenawilliams.’

She followed that up with an excited countdown to her cooking show ‘With Love, Meghan’ adding: ‘Three days until the party begins. All are invited @netflix.’

Lilibet can be seen wearing a baby pink matching pair of leggings and top in the short clip on the social media platform.

Tennis star Serena sits next to her in a raspberry pink outfit smiling and clapping at the princess in a sweet moment captured on video.

In another photo Meghan, dressed in a navy blue pyjama set with white pin stripes, leans over Lilibet with a Candy Land pink box – emblazoned with her and her sibling Archie’s names on the front – carefully positioned on a table in front.

Meghan two days ago shared the first clip of her new Netflix show after the streamer released a sneak preview.

The teaser shows the Duchess bonding with ‘new friend’ and chef Roy Choi over their shared love of ‘karaoke and dancing’ in Koreatown while preparing a hearty meal of Korean fried chicken in a glamorous kitchen set.

‘With Love, Meghan’ is set to premiere on March 4, after the series was delayed from its initial January release date due to the California wildfires.

The clip begins with Meghan telling Choi: ‘The best thing about Koreatown is that you could go to all ages clubs and karaoke bars…’

‘I was part of dance crews, all that stuff,’ he replies.

She then reminisces over different dances ‘that were such a big deal’ like the ‘Roger Rabbit’ and the ‘Kid-N-Play’.

‘Oh, it was just so much fun,’ Meghan continued, while she and Choi work together in the kitchen of a million-dollar estate in Montecito, California.

The Korean-American chef, who shot to fame as the creator of the gourmet Korean-Mexican taco truck Kogi, then remarks: ‘Man, you and I are so similar.

‘We should have met a long time ago.’

Meghan then asks her guest whether he listens to music while cooking.

‘I listen to a lot of lyrical jazz, hip-hop,’ he tells the Duchess of Sussex, before adding: ‘Sometimes speed metal, death metal.’

‘No, you don’t,’ Meghan responds, looking shocked. ‘What’s speed metal?’

When he tells her ‘it’s just like dark [metal], she reacts: ‘That doesn’t sound like the joy of cooking.’

But she admits ‘we’re all multi-faceted folks’ when Choi tells her: ‘We all have different sides to who are.’

The pair share a laugh when Choi quips speed metal ‘is good for when you’re butchering’.

Meghan, who announced her Netflix series at the start of the year, reshared the sneak-peek to her Instagram Stories with the caption: ‘Thanks to my fellow Angeleno, Chef Roy Choi.

‘Had the best time having you on the show. Can’t wait for all of you to see it.’

The Duchess recently shared a ‘backstage video’ from ‘With Love, Meghan’ on her newly-launched Instagram account before the video appeared to be taken down.

The 14-second clip featured a short cameo from her husband Prince Harry, and the couple’s beloved beagle Guy – whose death was announced by Meghan last month.

n the video, the Duchess can be seen showing off her dance moves and sharing lighthearted moments with crew members and some of the guests who will feature.

After it was deleted, the short clip was reposted on X before a seemingly identical version of the teaser was later reuploaded to her social media without explanation.

Meghan captioned the post: ‘Six more days until our show launches on @Netflix! Celebrating the crew and everyone who helped make this happen! The countdown begins.’

The new series will see the Duchess ‘reimagine the genre of lifestyle programming’ as she and her guests roll ‘up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same’, according to Netflix promotional material.
