In recent news, Meghan Markle has reportedly expressed deep dissatisfaction with the royal family over what she perceives as “double standards” in their treatment of her husband, Prince Harry. Despite the outward appearances of smiles and unity, Meghan has been harboring intense emotions about the situation.

The former actress is particularly upset about the royal family’s seemingly warm reception of Prince Andrew, who has been seen attending events alongside other royals. This comes after Prince Andrew was stripped of his military affiliations in 2022 due to his connections with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s relationship with the royal family has noticeably deteriorated over the past few years, especially since he and Meghan relocated to the US. This stark contrast in treatment has reportedly “infuriated” Meghan, who is concerned about their reputation.

A source told Bella magazine that Meghan finds the “double standards” to be “glaring.” They added that she is struggling to understand how Prince Andrew has managed to reintegrate into the royal fold despite his controversies, while she and Harry are left out in the cold.

Prince Andrew’s recent appearances, such as the annual Easter service at Windsor Castle and a service honoring King Constantine II of Greece in February, have only added to Meghan’s frustration. The source described Prince Andrew’s reentry into the royal circle as “infuriating” for Meghan, given the chaos he has been linked to.

“Meghan feels that she’s been cast aside and treated like the Wicked Witch of the West, simply for speaking her mind,” the source said. “Not to mention the way she feels Harry has been treated. He’s received ten times more flak from his family than Andrew ever has. The double standard is glaring.”

Despite Meghan’s apparent unhappiness, there may still be hope for reconciliation. Royal expert Tom Quinn suggested that King Charles might be open to mending fences with Harry and Meghan. Speaking to the Mirror, Quinn mentioned that King Charles has hinted that the couple should visit Balmoral in the summer to see if they can resolve their differences.

“According to people I’ve spoken to at Kensington Palace, King Charles has hinted to Harry and Meghan that they should come to Balmoral in the summer to see if something can be done about the ongoing feud in the family,” Quinn explained.

In addition to potential reconciliation efforts with King Charles, there are signs that Prince Harry has been reconnecting with other family members. Reports have emerged that Harry and Princess Catherine have resumed contact, with Harry sending notes of encouragement and support to her and calling her from time to time.

A source told Closer magazine, “Kate is being warm and welcoming towards him. She’s made it clear that she’s happy they are back in touch.”

The news of Princess Catherine’s recent cancer diagnosis and her announcement of undergoing “preventive chemotherapy” has also brought the family closer, highlighting the potential for renewed connections despite past tensions.
