The Kansas City Chiefs locked another one of its offensive superstars on Thursday, signing center Creed Humphrey to a four-year, $72 million with $50 million guaranteed prior to the start of the season.

This extension feels like an absolute steal. Humphrey quickly ascended to the condition of one of the best centers of the league right from the start of his career, and with Jason Kelce retiring, he’s in the conversation for the best center of the league. He’s at least in the first tier with Detroit Lions center Frank Ragnow.

NFL fans couldn’t believe how the Chiefs were able to lock yet another All-Pro player with a contract that feels extremely low for his quality. The interior of the offensive line is one of the best in the league, and Kansas City fans can rest easy with Mahomes’ protection being extremely solid.

“I mean, GREAT move by KC. Protect Pat at all costs.”, said one fan

“You make sure your franchise quarterback has a top-notch center. It’s not a position you allow to be a complete pushover or 1-year rental”, analyzed another.

Another fan was impressed and said “They got rings and money for days damn”.
