The Sun on Sunday reported that Prince Andrew’s older brother, King Charles III, did not renew the contract for the Duke of York’s private security team.

In 2019, Prince Andrew announced that he would be taking a break from his duties as a monarch following the disclosure of his ties to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In the fall, it will expire after the prince lost his police protection in 2022.

The Sun reported that the king, who is battling cancer, has been paying for Andrew’s security at Royal Lodge.

Charles is said to spend nearly $4 million annually on the security team. A close-up of Prince Andrew in his matching black suit as he walks behind King Charles.

King Charles III, according to a report in the Sunday Sun, did not extend Andrew’s private security team’s contract when it came to an end in the fall. According to royal experts who previously spoke with Fox News Digital, the king wants Andrew to move out of his lavish 31-room home with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. The Queen Mother, their grandmother, lived there until her death in 2002.

In 2003, Andrew bought the house for more than $1 million, according to the UK Times. According to reports, he has spent more than $9 million on renovations and repairs. He currently pays approximately $337,000 in rent annually. The property is said to be worth $37 million and needs about $53,000 annually to be maintained. The lease can only be passed on to members of Andrew’s immediate family, including his two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

According to the Times, when Prince Andrew dies, his lease to Royal Lodge can be passed on to his two daughters, Princess Eugenie (left) and Princess Beatrice (right), both of whom are wearing navy blue coats. After being asked to leave, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former home in the United Kingdom is still empty.

Due to his connections to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, it was previously reported that the disgraced Duke was likely to reduce his staff. According to the Times, security would be provided if Andrew moved into Frogmore Cottage, which is located within the secured grounds of Windsor Castle. Meghan Markle, wearing a white coat dress and a matching hat, was standing next to Prince Harry in a black suit with medals.

In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex resigned as senior royals. However, a decision might be made quickly. On August 19th, Scotland held a brief ceremony to welcome the king. His annual summer retreat will take place at Balmoral Castle, where he will stay. Andrew is expected to join him, according to the Times.

She shared that the king wants to simplify things for his brother by moving him into Frogmore Cottage. A great many dollars have been spent on refreshing and modernizing the property, and there is a very sizable amount of room, Scoffield asserted.

Prince Andrew is not a team player. He is entitled and wants what he believes the late Queen Elizabeth promised to him. Since she has passed away, his mother was his most powerful ally. He lost any ability to negotiate when he lost his mother, Scoffield continued. He has two very supportive daughters who do plead his case to their uncle. She was a significant source of support for the unhappy Duke. It is unfortunate that Andrew has placed this additional burden on the king by refusing to follow instructions, say palace sources.

The king has gone to great lengths to seek healing and peace after a terrible year for his health. Andrew continues to be a source of irritation for him because of his controversial relationship with Epstein. Andrew resigned from his position as king in 2019. Additionally, he lost his honorary military titles. The queen also banned him from using the title “His Royal Highness” in official settings and removed his honorary leadership of various charities known as royal patronages before she died in 2022.
