Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made the collective jaws of both NFL fans and “Swifties” drop last week when he said that Taylor Swift has “started drawing up plays” for the team.

It’s unclear how serious the two-time MVP was, but the topic has remained relevant enough for Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (Swift’s boyfriend) to discuss it during a Tuesday appearance on the “Rich Eisen Show.”

“She has just been so open to learning the game. She didn’t know much about the rules and everything. What makes her so good in her profession is, she’s so detailed in every aspect of it,” the nine-time Pro Bowler said. “From the words to the music to even the releases and the music videos and everything, she’s so detailed and a part of it that I think she was just curious about the profession.”

Kelce added that he knows that none of the apparent plays the 14-time Grammy Award winner has written up have made it into head coach Andy Reid’s playbook yet. If they do, however, Kelce will “make sure everybody knows it was [Swift’s] creation.”

“But they exist?” Eisen asked. “Like there [is] actually something written down on a piece paper?”

“She’s a little biased. She’s a little biased, just creates plays for me. So we’ll see if they can make it into coach Reid’s office,” Kelce said.

Rumors of a “Love Story” between the 2013 third-round pick and the superstar singer-songwriter began circulating late last summer. Their relationship was confirmed in late September when Swift and “Mama Kelce” nearly broke the internet, as the duo was spotted sitting together during the Chiefs’ Week 3 home contest against the Chicago Bears.

“Traylor” was seen leaving Arrowhead Stadium together after Kansas City’s win against Chicago, unofficially marking the start of their relationship.
