Reba McEntire’s New Sitcom Happy’s Place Is Coming To An End Soon… At Least For Now

Reba McEntire’s sitcom Happy’s Place debuted its first season in October 2024 and quickly became a hit.

Fans were so excited to see the “I’m a Survivor” singer back on their screens, especially after it had been nearly 20 years since her iconic namesake sitcom had aired. The pilot ended up attracting over 4 million viewers, making it the fifth most-watched primetime telecast of the night. Even more impressive, it reached 10 million viewers across all platforms once it was available to stream.

McEntire stars as Bobbie, a strong-willed woman whose life takes an unexpected turn when her father passes away and leaves her his tavern. To her surprise though, she discovers she has a half-sister she never knew about and must figure out how to run the business with her while dealing with the challenges life throws at them.

The show even features familiar faces, including McEntire’s former Reba costar Melissa Peterman, who plays Gabby. Fans have also been treated to some fantastic cameos from past castmates. Christopher Rich and Steve Howey have appeared in guest roles during Season 1. ‘Happy’s Place’ Pilot Episode: (l-r) Melissa Peterman as Gabby, Reba McEntire as Bobbie (Casey Durkin/NBC via Getty Images)
The rest of the “Happy’s Place” cast includes Belissa Escobedo, Pablo Castelblanco, Rex Linn, and Tokala Black Elk.

How Many Episodes Are Left In Season 1?

With how much people love Happy’s Place, viewers never want to see the show end. Unfortunately, the season finale is just around the corner.

Happy’s Place was ordered for 18 episodes in its first season, so only 3 episodes remain until it wraps. However, fans don’t need to worry too much, because the cast and crew recently received some amazing news: Happy’s Place has officially been renewed for a second season!

Reba McEntire shared a video on her socials of the moment she broke the news to her fellow costars right before they began filming the last episode of Season 1. And let’s just say, there were plenty of happy tears!
