Caitlin Clark sends two-word message to Lexie Hull as Indiana Fever star joins Unrivaled
Lexie Hull has signed up to the new Unrivaled series, which begins in January, and she could be joined by Indiana Fever colleague Caitlin Clark
Caitlin Clark has sent a two-word message to Indiana Fever colleague Lexie Hull, who has signed up for the new Unrivaled series.
Clark and Hull are enjoying some well-deserved rest and recuperation following the Fever’s early exit from the WNBA Playoffs.
Hull has used her down time by jetting off to Hawaii with her boyfriend, Will Matthiessen, with the 25-year-old sharing pictures from their break on social media.

Hull captioned the images with the word “Mahalo” – a Hawaiian term to express gratitude. Clark, one of many followers to ‘like’ the photos, replied by saying “Slay guys”. Slay is a slang term to describe someone who is doing well and impressing others.
Hull will soon begin preparations for Unrivaled, the new three-on-three women’s basketball league co-founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.
Tipping off in Miami on January 17, Hull joins an impressive roster which includes players like Collier, Stewart, Angel Reese, Kelsey Plum, Chelsea Gray, Arike Ogunbowale, Jewell Loyd and Brittney Griner.
A delighted Hull marked the announcement with three celebration emojis on Instagram, with the final 30-player line-up being confirmed on Thursday.

The teams will be called Laces Basketball Club, Mist Basketball Club, Phantom Basketball Club, Lunar Owls Basketball Club, Rose Basketball Club and Vinyl Basketball Club.
The ‘Basketball Club’ moniker has been inspired by European soccer, with organizers keen to build a similar sense of loyalty amongst fans.
Clark has been linked with Unrivaled herself, with the 22-year-old reportedly receiving a huge offer which includes $1million (£770,000), plus equity and revenue sharing.
That far outweighs Clark’s base salary during her rookie season with the Fever, where she earned a reputed $76,535 (£58,950).
However, the bulk of her income comes from lucrative endorsements with companies like Swoosh, State Farm, Gatorade, Wilson, Bose and Buick.
