Simone Biles Explains Why She Won’t Be Attending Many Chicago Bears’ Games In 2024 As She Faces Backlash Over Her Packers Outfit

Simone Biles made tons of headlines over the weekend, attending her first Bears game to support her husband, Jonathan Owens. Owens is in his first year with the team after spending last year with the Green Bay Packers.

The legendary gymnast upset fans as she wore a jacket with Green Bay’s logo.

Biles had a great reason to wear it because it had images of her husband all over it.

Hopefully, fans got a good look at Biles at the game because she won’t be seen much at Soldier Field, unlike the previous year, when she was seen a lot at Lambeau Field.

In a Monday TikTok, Biles revealed that she will likely not be able to attend many Bears games this season due to her post-Olympic obligations.

Simone Biles, who won four more Olympic medals (including three golds) a few weeks ago in Paris, stated, “I don’t know how many games I’ll be able to make because, in a few weeks, we go on tour, and if you guys aren’t aware, it’s the Gold Over America tour. I think right now we’re doing about 32 stops,” Biles said.

The tour is a traveling gymnastics exhibition featuring Simone Biles and other gymnasts like Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera. It is scheduled to commence Sept. 16 in Oceanside, California.

The Chicago Bears are set to open their season days prior against the Tennessee Titans.

The tour will run through Nov. 3 and feature 32 shows in 30 cities. It is actually making a stop in Chicago on Sept. 29, the same day the Bears host the Los Angeles Rams, so maybe Simone Biles can make a stop at the stadium.

Simone Biles May Become More Available Should Retire From Her Sport

Simone Biles has nothing else to prove in her career, as she is already the most decorated gymnast in American history.

Biles didn’t rule out going to the 2028 Olympics, but she would be around 31 years old, and it is extremely unlikely that gymnasts would still be good at that age and compete at the Olympics.

However, she is Simone Biles.

If she chooses to retire, she will be more than available to show up to NFL games.
