The Utopia artist was seen sitting front row for the Olympic semi-final basketball contest between the US and Serbia on Thursday as he hyped up the crowd.

After returning to his five star hotel, Scott was reportedly seen in a wild fight with his own bodyguard before being hauled into custody, a police source told Valeurs Actuelles.

The rapper was intoxicated when the brawl erupted inside the George V hotel near the Champs-Élysées in the heart of Paris, the source said.

An investigating source added: “He was not in the right condition to be questioned straight away, so was put in a cell where he is still sobering up.”

Footage of Scott at the Bercy Arena showed him alongside pal Quavo as the duo screamed and shouted court side as they watched the US move on to the final.

Lawyers for Scott – full name Jacques Bermon Webster – have not yet commented on his arrest.

The rapper has been in trouble with the law several times over the last few years with wild footage, exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, showing him being hauled away while he shouts in disbelief.

It followed his arrest for disorderly intoxication and trespassing in June.
