Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese talks with teammates during a timeout...

There is no question that Angel Reese will be a huge star in the WNBA, as she has shown her talent during her rookie season. A year that was cut short due to a wrist injury, but that has left her a lot of lessons with the Chicago Sky.

It did not take long for her to make a name for herself; however, she would like to be called differently from now on. On Friday she took to Instagram to reveal a new nickname she wants the fans to call her as she posted a photograph on the stories section.

“The ONLY issues I have call me MS.COVERGIRL,” she captioned the story post. “I’m missing one but more to come.” In the photo people could see all of her magazine covers lined up on a wall, as she was lifting her spirit after the season.

A disappointing season

The Chicago Sky missed the playoffs after a very bad season that not even Angel Reese could prevent. It was a 13-27 record and without her for the fina l14 games, they only managed to win a pair.

Even though the bad season, Reese was named a Peak Performer for leading the whole league in rebounding average per game with a 13.1. To add to her pretty good rookie season, she won WNBA Rookie of the Month in June over Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever.

She was drafted seventh overall in the April draft and she immediately had an impact on her team and the league, as she transformed herself into a rebound machine. Now she wants to be transformed into Ms. Covergirl.
