Lawrence Jones’ career at Fox News is turning a new page! He’s excited about his new role – What’s next for this rising star?

Lawrence Jones has officially joined FOX & Friends, FOX News Media announced on Thursday.

FOX & Friends aired a montage of Jones’ best moments on the show, where he has served as an enterprise reporter, traveling and interviewing Americans at diners and other locations across the country. Now, he will join co-hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade from 6-9 AM on weekday mornings starting September 18.

“I feel that when it comes to the couch, you really get a sense of America. We have this incredible opportunity to represent our audience every day on the couch, and I’m so grateful and humbled. I will learn a lot from all of you, and it’s going to be an exciting journey,” Jones said on Thursday’s show.

FOX & Friends is on track to be the most-watched program in its time slot for the 23rd consecutive year, consistently outperforming CNN and MSNBC’s morning shows.

At 30 years old, Jones made history as the youngest Black solo host on cable news when Lawrence Jones Cross Country launched last year.

Throughout his career, Jones has always remembered a key piece of advice from Sean Hannity.

“When I first got into this business, Hannity told me, ‘Just be LJ,’” he shared with Fox News Digital last year.
