Harrison Butker was made to look for his pre-match suit before having to leave without it after a brutal evening for him and his Kansas City Chiefs as they were dominated in the Super Bowl
Harrison Butker was left looking for his clothes while wearing a towel after the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIX defeat after they were accidentally taken from him.
The controversial Chiefs kicker did not even get to attempt one field goal in the Super Bowl as they were dominated by the Philadelphia Eagles going on to lose in a blowout.
After the game, Butker showered before the Chiefs looked to leave the stadium as soon as they could after hopes of winning three consecutive Super Bowls were crushed…but the kicker could not find his suit. Reports have suggested that Chiefs staffers had removed his suit, believing it to be Patrick Mahomes’ who the kicker regularly sits next to in the locker room.
Butker is believed to have left in Chiefs training gear, ending what must have been a humiliating night for all those in Kansas City white as the Eagles came away with a statement win to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy. The Chiefs were humiliated by the Eagles almost from the very first whistle, with Philadelphia moving the ball down the field seamlessly, while Mahomes managed just 40 yards of offense through the first-half.
Kansas City did manage to score 16 points in the final quarter with the game already lost, having failed to get into the Eagles’ redzone until deep into the third quarter of the game. Butker, who has regularly been amongst the highest-scorers in the league as the Chiefs’ kicker, did not even attempt one kick in the game.

While Jalen Hurts put on a much stronger performance than Mahomes, the story of the game had been the dominance of the oppositions lines, with Philadelphia putting on a show at both ends. Hurts was given all day to throw in the pocket, with the Chiefs quarterback found himself under constant durress with the Eagles’ defensive line registering six sacks and 16 pressures in the game.
Butker will return to the Chiefs next season after signing a four-year extension last year, but many of their star players now face an uncertain future with the team needing to address multiple areas of their roster this offseason.
