Michael Bublé Gets Emotional as Son Noah Showcases His Piano Skills
Michael Bublé couldn’t hold back his emotions when his 8-year-old son, Noah, surprised him with an impressive piano performance.
On Thursday, Bublé shared a heartfelt video of Noah playing I’ll Never Not Love You on the piano while his dad sang along. The proud father revealed that his son had worked hard to learn the song while he was away on tour.
“Noah surprised me after I was away,” Bublé wrote over the video. “He worked so hard to learn this song. So proud of my guy.”
Throughout the performance, Bublé beamed with pride, visibly moved by his son’s dedication. As Noah played, the singer managed to sing a line before pausing in awe. When he attempted to continue, his voice cracked with emotion, forcing him to momentarily stop.
Placing a hand over his heart, he then turned to someone off-camera, pointing at Noah and saying, “He’s the best. He’s the best.”
Bublé later posted the video on Instagram with the caption, “More talent in his little fingers than I have in my whole body!” along with the hashtags #chickenlegs, #proud, and #illnevernotloveyou.
His wife, actress Luisana Lopilato, was just as proud, commenting, “My baby!!” on the post.
A Talented and Growing Family
Bublé and Lopilato share three children—Noah, 8, Elias, 6, and Vida Amber Betty, 4—and recently announced they are expecting a fourth, a baby girl.
Elias, the couple’s 6-year-old son, had a humorous reaction to the pregnancy news. When Bublé told The View about how they explained to their children that “Mommy has a baby in her tummy,” Elias wasn’t thrilled with being left out of the process.
“We asked, ‘What’s wrong?’ and he said, ‘Why didn’t you invite us to watch when you fell in love and made the baby?’” Bublé recounted with a laugh. “And I still don’t know how to answer the question.”
Noah’s Musical Gift
Noah’s musical talent extends beyond the piano. In March, Bublé revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show that his son co-wrote the lead track on his latest album, Higher.
The moment happened unexpectedly. “I was giving the kids a shower, doing the shampoo and everything,” Bublé recalled. “And Noah said, ‘Papi, I wrote a song.’”
If Noah looks up to his father for inspiration, the admiration goes both ways. Bublé told TODAY that his family plays a huge role in shaping his music.
“My family influences me on everything,” he shared in April. “They are my everything. Whenever I get too high or too low, they’re always there.”
Clearly, talent and love for music run deep in the Bublé household!
