Combs, currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, took to Instagram to express his gratitude, thanking Kanye for his support with a heartfelt message: “Thank you to my brother @Ye.”
The move came as a surprise to many, given the history between the two rappers. Since 2022, Kanye and Diddy have been at odds after Kanye debuted his controversial “White Lives Matter” merchandise. At the time, Diddy had criticized the move, calling it “tone-deaf,” which prompted Kanye to lash out against him on social media.

Kanye’s posts were blunt and to the point, beginning with the message “Free Puff.” He continued with a series of fiery tweets in all caps, condemning other celebrities for remaining silent while Diddy faced legal trouble.
“They tryna prove a point and y’all know that y’all fg know that and sitting laughing at the f…g internet on Instagram. This man gave his life to us. This is my idol. This is my hero,” Kanye wrote.
