Following months of rumours about Eamonn Holmes and his new girlfriend Katie Alexander, the truth of their relationship has reportedly been revealed.
The 65-year-old GB News presenter was confirmed to be dating the counsellor, 42, just months after announcing his split from Ruth Langsford.
The couple have been pictured together several times, and embarked on a luxury Mediterranean cruise last summer, with reports later stating they were looking at homes together and taking their relationship to the next step.
One source had previously claimed: ‘Katie is telling everyone she is totally smitten and in love,’ adding: ‘She’s in it for the long haul.’

It was also reported that, as well as planning more holidays together, Eamonn and Katie wanted to move back to his hometown of Belfast.
However, the truth from a ‘close friend’ of his has now been revealed, suggesting they have no plans to move in together any time soon.
Katie split from her husband, who she shares two children with, in 2022.

She is said to be living in a town in West Yorkshire – 200 miles away from Eamonn’s South West London home, where he lives alone after moving out of the Surrey mansion he shared with Ruth.
The couple hope to see each other every couple of weeks, but, according to The Sun, there appears to be no plans for them to move in together anytime soon following the rumours.
Eamonn’s health prevents him from simply taking the train to meet her, and Katie’s responsibilities as a mother of teenage children and in her counselling work make it more difficult for her to spend time away from home.
But the couple are said to remain ‘optimistic’ despite their time together being ‘limited’.
Last year, Katie joined Eamonn on a luxury Mediterranean cruise, months after he and Ruth announced they were parting ways.
However, future holidays are said to be on hold due to his ongoing health issues.
Eamonn slipped three discs in his back in 2021, losing ‘full mobility’, and has spoken about his chronic pain and difficulty walking.
He then underwent spinal surgery the following year, which left him off air for almost four months as he recovered, however, he suffered a major setback when he fell down the stairs, later saying he ‘smashed’ his shoulder.

Last year, he heartbreakingly said he was on ‘borrowed time’ and ‘not OK’, and has been pictured in public using crutches and in a wheelchair.
He recently said on GB News: ‘I have been basically disabled for a year and a half or so, and it’s horrendous.
‘I have to have carers to do the smallest, simplest thing.
‘It’s humiliating, it’s humbling, and thank goodness that the carers are available.’
Ruth recently opened up about her marriage coming to an end, saying she’s ’embracing’ being single again (Picture: Ken McKay/ITV/REX/Shutterstock)
‘It’s been a tough year and I’ll be glad to see the back of it,’ Eamonn told The Sun.
‘But there are lots of things to be grateful for and I hope that my health improves next year.’
Ruth and Eamonn announced their split in May 2024 after 14 years of marriage, with reports at the time stating work commitments had resulted in them drifting in ‘different directions’.
The Loose Women star, 64, has kept a dignified silence on her marriage coming to an end, and only recently said she’s ’embracing’ being single and ‘moving on’ after her ‘very painful’ split.
She said: ‘You can either let yourself crumble or you pick yourself up and get on with life. It’s a choice.’
She added to Women&Home: ‘I’m not delighted my marriage is over but I’ve accepted that my marriage is over, so I am trying to now embrace the fact that I’m single and can make choices that are just about me.’
