Steph Curry is often regarded as the greatest shooter in NBA history.
NBA superstar Stephen Curry has already made his feelings clear on Michael Jordan’s comments about him entering the Hall of Fame.
Curry, 36, has played for the Golden State Warriors since 2009 and has won four NBA titles.
The Ohio-born superstar is often regarded as the NBA’s greatest-ever shooter and was named NBA Most Valuable Player on two occasions.
Back in 2019, fellow NBA legend Jordan, who won the NBA six times, was asked whether Curry deserved a place in the Hall of Fame.
He told NBC’s Craig Melvin, via Complex: “He’s still a great player. Not a Hall of Famer yet though.”
Responding to Jordan’s comments at the time, Curry told Full Size Run’s Matt Welty during an interview for Sole Collector: “I think I’m good, but then I’m never complacent.
“I know I have more to prove to myself. When you hear a guy like that who’s the greatest of all time, it’s kind of funny. Since we’ve been on this stage, we’ve heard a lot of retired guys chiming in on this generation of basketball player and evaluating talent and saying their generation was better and all that.”
He added: “It’s a great conversation for the fans to get in on. I know I’m in good shape for that, but I still have a lot to prove to myself.”
Curry, along with LeBron James and Kevin Durant were part of the Team USA basketball squad who managed to clinch gold at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The Americans managed to get the better of France in the final, winning 98-87.
During the match, Curry showcased his skills when it mattered most as he scored 24 points against the French.
The Warriors star scored three three-pointers in the closing stages to put the game to bed.
In the bronze medal match, Serbia got the better of Germany, winning 93-83.
