Earlier this month, SpaceXMania posted an article claiming that Owens will be filling Goldberg’s shoes as the next moderator of The View. The article claimed that there was a mixed reaction to the news as Owens’ supporters “celebrated the move as a step toward inclusivity in mainstream media, while critics expressed concerns about the potential polarization of the show’s audience.”

The post was later added to the publication’s Facebook page, where most comments implied that the social media user believed the news was true, according to Snopes.

Is Candace Owens On The View?

No, Owens is not going to join The View and replace Goldberg. SpaceXMania, the site on which the article was published, describes itself as mostly satirical. Because the post about the alleged co-hosting switch-up was labeled as satire, the site’s disclaimer page warns that it is “not meant to be taken seriously.” A separate article alleging that ABC offered Owens $10 million for the job is also false.

Goldberg is not the only View co-host that SpaceXMania has given the boot. Just last week, the publication claimed that ABC had terminated Joy Behar‘s contract as well. However, that too, is labeled satire and therefore is incorrect.

The View Cast: Who Currently Hosts The View?

Goldberg currently serves as the moderator of The View, alongside co-hosts Behar, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro. When the network hired Griffin and Navarro to fill Meghan McCain‘s seat in 2022, Goldberg began taking every Friday off, while Behar takes off on Mondays.

Now, the co-hosts are currently on their annual holiday hiatus and will not be back with new episodes until after the New Year.
