In a clip shared by the NFL, Swift looked momentarily surprised by the boos but quickly smiled while sitting next to rapper Ice Spice.
The moment sparked controversy, prompting both Andrews and Thompson to address it on their podcast, ‘Calm Down With Erin and Charissa.’
During the February 11 episode of their podcast, Andrews, 46, expressed frustration over Swift’s treatment at Super Bowl.
“I feel bad for the most famous, amazing woman in the world who f*****g gets booed at the Super Bowl. Get out of here!” she said, according to People.
Thompson, 42, acknowledged the intense loyalty of Eagles fans but maintained that the reaction to Swift was unwarranted.
“I love the fandom. Eagles are proud fans. They are gonna hate her on that day because you’re rooting for your team,” she said.

Despite this, Thompson praised both Swift and Kelce for how they manage public scrutiny.
“She handles everything so well. And so does Travis. He handles this so well,” she shared.
Serena Williams extends her support
Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson were not the only ones defending Taylor Swift.
Tennis legend Serena Williams, 43, took to X shortly after the incident to show her support.
“I love you @taylorswift13 don’t listen to those booo!!” Williams wrote.
Travis Kelce and Chiefs struggle in Super Bowl loss
The Super Bowl turned out to be a rough night for Kelce and the Chiefs, who suffered a 40-22 defeat against the Eagles.
The tight end, visibly disappointed, caught only four passes for 39 yards and appeared dejected as he left the field.
“We haven’t played that bad all year. You don’t lose like that without everything going bad,” Kelce admitted to reporters post-game.

On the field, Andrews made sure to console Kelce, offering him a warm embrace.
“I gave him a big hug and I was just like, ‘I’m so sorry, I love you, I’m so sorry.’ They’re humans, too,” she shared with Thompson.
