A week after the wedding, my wife brought home a child, hoping that I would adopt them. I was suspicious so I went for a DNA test and was shocked by the results
We have no responsibility to love and protect the child, we just hope the wife will soon take the baby and leave the house.
When I first met my wife, I was not impressed with her, because of her ordinary appearance, simple dress, and so-so conversation. But the longer I spent time with her, the more I felt that she had many good qualities such as being tolerant, always helping people, and knowing how to behave.
That was exactly the type of person I had been looking for for many years, so I confessed my love after 2 months of getting to know each other. 3 weeks ago, our wedding took place in full happiness. I thought that from now on, I would be able to live next to the wife I loved so much, but the appearance of the child made me depressed.
A week after the wedding, my wife suddenly brought home a child and said it was her adopted child. 3 years ago, a friend of hers married a foreigner and left her newborn child for my wife to raise.
My wife’s parents advised her to give the child to her grandparents, but my wife said that she was rejected by them, so she decided to abandon the child. Many people told my wife to send the child to an orphanage, but with her compassionate nature, she could not do it. So for the past few years, she has been quietly raising the child. No wonder my wife rarely brings me back to her rented room to play.
While I was confused about what to do, my whole family thought that the child was my wife’s illegitimate child. She deliberately made up the story to prove her moral integrity but in fact she was a liar.
Although I loved my wife very much, what everyone said made sense, and I couldn’t sit still any longer. After that, I secretly took a few strands of hair from her and her child to do a DNA test. The day before, when I received the results, I was shocked. The child had no blood relation to my wife, so she was right. She was truly a woman with a generous heart.
Everyone in my family respects her moral character, but no one agrees to let us raise the child. My parents advised my wife to return the child to its mother or to take it to her parents’ house to raise. But she did not agree. My wife said that she had taken care of the child since birth and loved it like her own child, so how could she abandon it?
I do not deny my wife’s kindness, but now she is a married woman and has to follow the lifestyle of her husband’s family. She cannot oppose my parents because of the child. How can I convince my wife to return the child to her parents’ house?
