Fox News stars Ainsley Earhardt and Sean Hannity stunned fans over Christmas when they announced their engagement—marking the latest chapter in their long-speculated romance. During Monday’s episode of Fox & Friends, Earhardt confirmed that she will remain in New York with her daughter, while Hannity, 63, continues residing in Florida, where he relocated last year.

“I’m staying on the curvy couch,” she said, referring to the Fox & Friends set. “My daughter loves her school, I love my community, and obviously, I love my job.”

Despite the challenges, Earhardt insists that the couple makes it work. “Sean is down in Florida, and we don’t miss a weekend without each other. So we see each other. We make it work. It’s easy,” she added.

A Surprise Proposal at Church

Earhardt also revealed the touching details of Hannity’s surprise proposal, which took place during what she believed was a routine meeting. Instead, they pulled up to their home church, where Hannity had a special moment planned.

“I thought we were going to a meeting, and we pulled up to the church instead,” she recalled. “I said, ‘This is not the right turn.’ And he said, ‘We’re not going to the meeting.’”

Sitting together in the front pew, the couple reflected on their journey before Hannity led her to the altar and got down on one knee.

“I respect him so much,” Earhardt gushed. “I look up to him—he’s been there for all of us in our careers. We all love and adore him, and then we fell in love a few years ago, and it’s been a wonderful ride. I’m so grateful.”

A History of Love and Loss

For Earhardt, the road to happiness has not been an easy one. She has been through two divorces—one of which ended amid infidelity rumors.

Her first marriage to college sweetheart Kevin McKinney seemed like a fairytale, culminating in a grand wedding at the South Carolina Governor’s Mansion in 2005. However, the marriage quietly ended in divorce just four years later.

She later found love with former Clemson Tigers quarterback Will Proctor, marrying him in 2012. The couple struggled with fertility issues but eventually welcomed their daughter, Hayden, in 2015. Sadly, just three years later, their marriage collapsed amid allegations of infidelity, leaving Earhardt to navigate life as a single mother.

Rumors of Earhardt and Hannity’s romance first surfaced in 2020, when Vanity Fair reported that the two had been secretly dating for quite some time. Though neither publicly confirmed their relationship then, multiple sources claimed they were inseparable.

Throughout the years, they were spotted together on various occasions—including a 2019 wedding at Trump National Golf Course, where they arrived via Hannity’s private helicopter. Their relationship became even more apparent in 2022 when they were seen enjoying outings together, including attending the Long Island Oyster Festival and dining at a Waffle House in South Carolina.

Faith First: The Key to Their Relationship

Their engagement reflects not only their love but also their deep spiritual bond. The couple chose their church as the site of the proposal, a location that holds special meaning for them.

“We have placed God first in our relationship,” they shared in a statement after announcing their engagement on December 27.

Both Hannity and Earhardt ensured that their children and ex-spouses were informed ahead of time, emphasizing that “everyone is supportive of each other.”

What’s Next for Fox News’ First Couple?

Despite their commitment to each other, Hannity and Earhardt will continue their long-distance arrangement due to their professional obligations. Hannity will remain in Florida, where he hosts his primetime show Hannity, while Earhardt will stay in New York, co-hosting Fox & Friends.

With their strong faith, deep respect for one another, and unwavering commitment to their careers and families, the couple is determined to make their unconventional setup work.

As they embark on this new chapter, one thing is certain: Hannity and Earhardt’s love story is far from conventional—but it’s a testament to the power of love, faith, and finding happiness on their own terms.
