Ellen 810

Ellen DeGeneres's UK mansion 'floods' just weeks after she fled the US 'due to Donald Trump's presidential win'Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s recent move to England has already taken a dramatic turn, as their new home was caught in a massive flood.

The couple, who relocated from the U.S. to the picturesque Cotswolds just weeks ago, are now dealing with a natural disaster eerily reminiscent of one they experienced at their former home in Montecito, California.

TMZ reported that Ellen and Portia decided to move to England permanently just days after Donald Trump was elected president, with sources saying they wanted to “get the hell out.” However, their escape to the tranquil English countryside was met with severe weather.

A major storm system swept through the region, bringing heavy rain and 80 mph winds, which caused significant flooding.

The River Thames, which runs near their property, burst its banks, inundating the surrounding area with floodwater. Reports indicate that Ellen and Portia’s 43-acre estate was severely affected, with water overtaking the land and roads around the property submerged under five feet of water.

It remains unclear if anyone has been able to assess the damage to the property, as the conditions have made access difficult.

This devastating flood comes after a strikingly similar experience Ellen faced at her former home in Montecito, California. Just last year, her Montecito property, along with the homes of neighbors like Oprah Winfrey, was ravaged by heavy flooding.

The disaster forced evacuations in the area and caused widespread damage. At the time, Ellen shared a dramatic video of the Montecito flood, capturing the scale of the destruction.

The parallels between the two events are undeniable. Both times, Ellen and Portia found themselves in the middle of severe flooding that caused significant damage to their homes and disrupted their lives.

The move to England was meant to offer a new beginning in a peaceful setting, but the unpredictable forces of nature have seemingly followed them across the Atlantic.

As of now, it’s unclear how extensive the damage to Ellen’s new home in the Cotswolds is.

The couple has not released a statement, and it’s unknown whether they were at the property during the flood or if they had to evacuate. With roads submerged and access limited, it may take time before the full extent of the damage is revealed.

For Ellen and Portia, the flood in England is a stark reminder that no matter where you live, nature’s power can be unpredictable and devastating.

As they navigate this latest challenge, fans and neighbors alike will undoubtedly keep an eye on how the situation unfolds.
