Jimmy Fallon Turned The Voice Into A Comedy Goldmine With His Surprise Blind Audition Of ‘I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near).’

Jimmy Fallon Steals The Show With Hilarious Surprise Blind Audition on The Voice

We all know Jimmy Fallon for his quick wit and charm as the host of The Tonight Show, but who knew he could turn The Voice into a comedy goldmine? In a recent blind audition, Fallon delivered an unexpected performance of “I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near)” that not only stunned the audience but had the coaches in fits of laughter.

The surprise began when The Voice host, Carson Daly, teased the judges with the promise of a mystery artist taking the stage. As Fallon, 48, belted out the classic song, the judges—Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, and Blake Shelton—were in for a shocking surprise when they realized it was the talk show host himself. The audience erupted with laughter, especially when Chance the Rapper—who joined the judging panel this season—was left speechless by Fallon’s unforgettable dance moves.

But the fun didn’t stop there. Blake Shelton, whose chair had remained turned away from the stage, was unexpectedly caught off guard as Fallon reached over and pressed the button himself, forcing Shelton to turn around.

“You can’t do that! You know the rules!” Shelton protested, but it was clear he was more amused than upset by Fallon’s antics.

The jokes kept coming as Blake suggested the creation of a supergroup named “Different Directions,” a playful nod to Niall Horan’s past with One Direction. It was clear that the dynamic between the coaches, especially with the addition of newcomers Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan, was one of camaraderie and fun, with everyone clearly enjoying each other’s company.

As Fallon left the stage, his jovial banter with the coaches added to the lighthearted atmosphere of the moment. Chance reflected on the warm, family-like atmosphere of the show, saying, “It feels like going to camp. You get here the first day like, ‘Oh, I don’t know everybody.’ Within a couple of days, you’re all a big family.”

Horan, with his usual wit, chimed in, “I really enjoyed the blind audition experience. It was nerve-wracking at the start, but once you get into it, like Chance said, everyone around the show is great. It’s good fun—apart from Blake.”

Watch the hilarious moment below:

This season on The Voice, Clarkson is back for her ninth stint, bringing her enthusiasm for mentoring talented artists. As always, the playful banter between Clarkson and Shelton continues, strengthening their close-knit relationship. Their camaraderie sets the stage for a season full of talent, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Jimmy Fallon’s surprise performance truly sealed the deal as one of the funniest and most enjoyable moments of the season!
