Kat Timpf Declares ‘It’s Over’ as She Outlines Life After Double Mastectomy and Cancer Battle
Fox News star Kat Timpf is embracing resilience and determination after revealing her breast cancer diagnosis just hours before giving birth to her son. Now, as she recovers from childbirth and prepares for a double mastectomy, the Gutfeld! co-host is looking ahead to the next chapter of her life—one that includes beating cancer, reconstructive surgery, and getting back to her routine with renewed strength.
A Bold Declaration Amid Recovery
On March 14, Timpf took to social media to share a powerful update on her journey. Posting a photo in front of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, she wrote:
“Once I recover from childbirth, my mole removal scars heal, I get a double mastectomy, get rid of my cancer, have breast reconstruction surgery & am physically capable of getting back in the gym it’s OVER FOR U BITCHEZ 😎🥵🗣️”
Her signature humor and confidence shone through, even in the face of adversity. The post, which also included the hashtag “MILF,” was met with overwhelming support from fans and colleagues.
Fox News commentator Greg Gutfeld responded with encouragement, writing, “You’re kicking ass Kat! We’re all missing you here.” Fellow Fox Business host Dagen McDowell also chimed in, praising Timpf’s strength and humor, saying, “I love you. You are as always fiercely hilarious. And those slippers are fire.”
Navigating Cancer and Motherhood
Timpf’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. On February 25, she announced the birth of her first child, but with that joyous news came an unexpected and life-changing revelation—just 15 hours before going into labor, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
“Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world. About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer,” she shared in an emotional social media post.
Despite the devastating diagnosis, doctors reassured her that her cancer was caught early, at Stage 0, meaning it had not yet spread and was highly treatable.
“I woke up more-than-a-week-past-due pregnant, completely consumed by doing everything I could to get the baby out,” she wrote. “By the end of the day, I needed a plan to get both the baby and the cancer out.”
Her doctors recommended a double mastectomy as soon as possible, a decision that Timpf has fully embraced in her fight against cancer.
A Message of Resilience and Strength
Through it all, Timpf has remained optimistic, sharing gratitude for early detection and the role her baby played in potentially saving her life.
“Still, as I navigate new motherhood (and new cancer), I’m learning to celebrate everything I can. I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom,” she wrote.
Her journey has been an inspiration, with fans rallying around her as she faces both the challenges of motherhood and cancer treatment with courage and humor.
As she looks forward to recovery and returning to the gym, one thing is clear—Kat Timpf isn’t backing down. With her family, fans, and colleagues supporting her, she is facing this battle head-on and proving that even in the toughest times, resilience and humor can make all the difference.
