Logan Paul has offered an explanation for a video appearing to show his dog getting pushed off a boat.close

Paul has become the subject of widespread criticism as an old video has resurfaced online showing his dog Broley hitting the water as part of a recording for content.

With the clip having gone viral this week, the WWE star has addressed it, denying the pooch was pushed into the water and providing a slow-motion version showing exactly what happened.

Paul, who is also a world-famous YouTube personality, said he would never do such and went on to explain that Broley jumped despite two people trying to get him to stop.

It doesn’t appear that everyone is buying the explanation as there are several comments calling for WWE to fire the star wrestler.

“You’re telling me that you had the gall to record the entire event and post it for everyone to see? You talk of body language but it’s clear that you don’t know what it is, because he showed clear intentions in jumping. It’s still animal abuse because you were all negligent,” a user wrote.

“yes, this video clearly shows that either she got startled or she jumped, it doesn’t look like anybody pushed her,” one said in his defense.

“Logans done some dumb things in his life, I don’t think this is him trying to use his dog for clout. Look at the dog’s eyes, head movement and back & front paws. They’re in hunt mode, saw something they liked & pounced. Logans only flaw was not noticing this sooner & stopping it,” another claimed.

Broley does appear to jump off the boat on his own, but the hands trying to stop him may have actually prompted her to take the plunge.

In any case, the explanation has split the opinion online. You just have to make of it what you will.
