Seeing as one is a globally-recognized singer-songwriter and the other is a star NFL player branching out into podcasting and acting, it makes sense that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce do not get to see a whole lot of one another as they close in on a year of dating.

The couple recently reunited at Swift’s Rhode Island beach home, but they will have to bat aside another controversy amid concern that Brittany Mahomes’ political beliefs will drive a wedge between her and Swift.

An insider has recently divulged key private details in the Swift-Kelce romance that could put the couple under strain with the 2024 NFL season just days away — and Swift on a break from her globe-spanning Eras Tour.

The insider’s claims purportedly show how the pair stayed close even while Grammy-winner Swift was performing in Europe — where Kelce was able to join her on occasion.

Swift and Kelce put in private effort across the miles

Now that she is on break from tour, Swift and Kelce will get to be on the same continent — and in the same time zone — for the first time in months. It hasn’t been easy for either person to be without the other, but Kelce and Swift worked hard and found ways to make long-distance dating work amid their frantic schedules.

Those quieter moments in which Swift and Kelce could “be together” without being in the same room were centered on turning their regular Zoom calls into “all-out” dates.

Since Swift was still away deep into the night European time, Kelce could call her in the middle of his day, and the two would have their “Zoom dates” — the details of which have been revealed in a way that might upset the power couple.

“They set up the Zoom and snuggle into bed to talk and catch up on everything that happened in their day. They’ll eat dinner together on the video call and treat it like a date,” an insider told Life & Style. “They’ll even watch movies together and then fall asleep with it going all night, so they can wake up together.”

The insider went on to say that the “over-the-top” long-distance romance was something Kelce “never would have agreed to” in the past, but the couple’s love runs so deep that it is “painful” for them to be apart.

Given recent comments about Kelce made by ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, every indication seems to be pointing toward an eventual engagement, with Kelce and Swift perhaps having already agreed to wed in the near future.
