Donald Trump was at UFC 309 this Saturday and had a curious reaction to seeing Joe Rogan.

Trump is a huge UFC fan and attends lots of the MMA promotion’s high-profile fights. Last night’s event was his first since winning the presidential election earlier this month, having survived an assassination attempt to become President of the United States for the second time.
While the scary incident likely helped his cause, his decision to feature as a guest on Rogan’s podcast is believed to have played a significant role in his win.
He would share an embrace with the popular podcast host and comedian after his arrival on Saturday and had a funny reaction to spotting the announcer.
Social Media Had Plenty To Say After Seeing Donald Trump’s Dramatic Reaction
Social media loved the way Trump reacted to seeing Rogan, as users felt it was authentic. Some reckon they’re fast on their way to becoming good friends.
“I love Dudes. I love dude culture. And I am loving the brimming testosterone of this new administration,” someone wrote in the comments.
“He doesn’t fake his feelings. I admire him for being very appreciative of the people who helped. That is a virtue,” said another.
“That’s a true friendship there in the making,” a third noted.
“He’s making government cool again. He has a posse of soon to be and current officials. I love that so many of them have suits on. 😂” a user laughed.
UFC 309 was headlined by Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic, with the latter retaining his heavyweight championship via TKO on the night. Miocic has since announced his retirement, while Jones has hinted that he’s not ready to walk away just yet.
