Caitlin Clark Shocking Confession: “Doesn’t Feel Like a Girl?” Is This Another Disappointing Woke WNBA Moment?

Caitlin Clark gave a very honest interview after the Indiana Fever‘s victory over the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA on Monday night.

The State Farm Arena was packed with 17,608 fans who wanted to see the Fever in action, and it was Clark that stood out the most given her huge reputation despite being a rookie.

It was a Georgia record for the biggest attendance at a WNBA game despite the Fever being the away team, which speaks to the draw of seeing Clark in action.

The Dream lost the game 84-79 which was of course a disappointment for their fans, but they did get to see Clark strutting her stuff as she put in a really impressive display.

The rookie sensation came in with 19 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals, a block and four triples in the win.

Clark doesn’t feel like a girl in her 22-year-old

In her post-game press conference, Clark was asked to share her thoughts on the impact she’s had on the meteoric growth of women’s basketball and she offered a very honest response that shows she appreciates the gravity of the situation.

“I feel like I’m a 22 years old girl, but I act like I’m 10,” she admitted. “So, I don’t know. I feel like I’m just a kid that plays basketball and has a lot of fun. And for me, like, coming into these arenas and these environments, I look around and it’s incredible.

It really is.

“I don’t show up and expect these crowds. Sure, maybe you’ve gotten a little bit used to it, but for me, that’s not anything that ever gets old. It really is something that’s really cool. Especially as a young girl who grew up going to games.

“As a young girl, I would have came to a game in a building like this and seen this type of crowd, I think I would have been kind of in heaven.”
