HARDY is officially a dad!
The musician, 34, and his wife Caleigh Ryan have welcomed their first baby together, a girl. They announced the happy news via a joint Instagram post on Sunday, March 9.
Alongside a series of photos of the newborn and her proud parents, the couple shared her name and birth stats: “Rosie Ryan Hardy 🤍. Born March 7, 2025. 9 pounds 2 ounces.”
One adorable photo in the carousel shows HARDY squeezing his newborn’s cheeks with his hands. Another image captures Ryan and baby Rosie touching their noses together in a sweet, mother-daughter bonding moment.
In October, the country singer and his wife announced that they were expecting their first baby together. In a joint post shared on both of their Instagrams, the couple posted a carousel of photos.
HARDY could be seen posing with his pregnant wife, who was wearing a tight-knit, off-the-shoulder white dress that accentuated her baby bump.
“You have been our favorite little secret to keep 🍼 🙏🏻 Baby Hardy coming February 2025 🤍,” Ryan wrote in her caption.
On her Instagram Stories, Ryan shared a few more photos, writing that the couple couldn’t wait to become parents.
“Thank you all so much for all of the sweet words and love you’ve shared with us about our little one!!” Ryan said. “I am so relieved and excited to finally have the news out there!! We are going to be parents! 🤍🙏🏻🥺🍼 This is so fun!”
In October 2022, Hardy and Ryan tied the knot in Nashville, Tenn., telling PEOPLE at the time they both want “like four kids” to fill their new Nashville home, but noted that they first had to go on their honeymoon in Thailand and Vietnam. “We’re so excited,” Ryan said.
The couple, who first started dating in 2018, previously revealed to PEOPLE how they met: the country singer DM-ed her.
“We just started talking about San Diego and how she goes to Ole Miss and my family’s Mississippi State thing,” Hardy said. “We kept in contact until I had a show nearby her school and told her I’d love to meet her there.”
When the day of his show arrived, Ryan said she “dragged” her roommates Brooke and Amanda to come with her.
“Once we met each other, there really was no one else,” Ryan said. “We never entertained anyone else. It was just so easy.”
At the time, Hardy added: “I loved her after the third time that we ever hung out. It was the realest thing I had ever experienced. I actually told her I loved her at Stagecoach, out in the crowd.”
