On Wednesday evening, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever upset Alyssa Thomas and the WNBA’s second-place team, the Connecticut Sun, by a final score of 84-80. The Fever have now won four of their last five games and sit with a 15-16 record.
In the third quarter, things got a little chippy between Clark and Sun forward Alyssa Thomas.
At the 3:29 mark, Thomas set a hard screen on Clark as she was defending Sun guard Tyasha Harris. Clark took the hit and went crashing to the court but got right back up and walked it off. Thomas was called for an offensive foul, and the play was not reviewed for a flagrant.
As the former Iowa Hawkeyes star made her way down the court, she gave a reaction to the hard hit that caused a loud cheer from the Indiana faithful, winking at the crowd and sticking her tongue out.
WNBA fans were amused by the perfect reaction from Clark and left their comments online.

Clark finished the game with 19 points on 7-of-17 shooting, five rebounds, five assists and one priceless reaction. She was also able to break the record for most three-pointers made by a WNBA rookie ever.
